Ministry and Serving
"Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’
Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’" (Matthew 25:34-40)

Prison Ministry
The purpose of Prison Ministry can be summed in two simple words: Changed Lives. The gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to reach the heart and mind even in the darkest of valleys, reaching those who desperately need Him. "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:36)
We have women's bible study and prayer through the Lake County Kimbrough Center and Lake County Jail Ministry.

Evangelism
We are a Christian ministry fully devoted to impacting the lives of tens of thousands of people annually in the Northwest Indiana Region, through street witnessing each third Saturday. Our goal is to equip God's living people with the word of GOD so that they may fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Mid-day Prayer
The key purpose of CORCC Noonday service is to reach out to people who are outside the family of God. Every day, we rub shoulders with people who are just an invite away from a life-changing encounter with Christ. Invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to attend Noonday so they will hear and understand what it means to be a follower of Christ.
Thursdays at the church @ 12p-12:30p (every other week) / Online Zoom option available.
KOZ- Kids Outdoor Zone
Kids Outdoor Zone provides men of CORCCNWI with the curriculum to mentor boys and teens (ages 8-18) using outdoor adventure.
Today, over 40% of the boys in our nation do not have a dad living at home. The lack of this male role model has created a dramatic increase in drug use, school drop-outs, pregnancy, and more. Also, the average kid spends 40 minutes a week outside and 70 hours in front of a screen! This trend is creating an unhealthy mental, physical, and spiritual population among our boys today. It is at catastrophic levels. However, every socioeconomic, health, and mental statistic improves substantially when a boy receives a mentor.
Boys are drawn in by outdoor adventure and training by an adult man. Every boy is truly "Wild at Heart." This internal longing fits perfectly with the KOZ program. The KOZ leaders ability to share the love of Jesus and a Heavenly Father changes the boys. In an outdoor setting boys are more attentive and can focus on the time with their KOZ leader and the gift of knowing Jesus.
KOZ meets every 2nd Saturday of the month@ 8am-12pm, here at City of Refuge Church!
